19 students in Bangka get Scholarships in IPB
SUNGAILIAT – Bangka Regency Government, Bangka Belitung Province, give the scholarship for 19 students in Bangka. So that, they are able to study in IPB (Institut Pertanian Bogor). The scholarships which are given for the students as a care sign of the government about education.
“19 students who got this scholarships have passed the selection process and will be paid full by the government.” Said Bangka Regent, Tarmizi Saat, in Sungailiat, Monday (22/8/2016).
He hope that the students always keep the region name good, and study hard, so getting the knowledge and then it will be implemented for the progress of Bangka in the future.
“Native language or Sundanese must be known, because it will help to have interaction each other and the achievement index score must 3,5. Because last students who got the scholarship had the score up to 3,5 – 4,00,” he said.
Tarmizi reminded that the students must be used this chance as good as possible. “As young generation, don’t be hesitate to make real the dreams, don’t be afraid,and don’t be a lazy generation.” He said once.
While Siti Jamarsih (secretary of education government Bangka Regency) said that total participants who follow the test is 123 students and have passed the test just 21 students.
“For the first time, total acceptance of scholarships is 21 students, but there is 2 students from Babel Province removed,” she said.
Siti explain that the students who got the scholarships are from any subdistrict in Bangka Regency and take 6 faculty differently.
“With the study period, for 4 years, hoping that all who got the scholarships will contribute and implemented knowledge for the progress of Bangka Province”, she said
